I beg to disagree with regards to the highs/fogs.
The light from the high beams and fogs is far enough out that it
does not affect visability in a negative way, only in a positive
way. The light from the dash, OTOH, I'll definately agree with.
It's close enough to cause serious visability problems.
I have wired or rewired all my other cars to do the same... allow
use of the driving lights with hihg beams to throw a barrel of
light when necessary. However, I did say "driving lights", not
fogs. I'd be tempted to add a set or driving lights in addition
to the fogs and aim them wide if you really want to see what's
coming out of the bushes. You can wire those any way you see fit.
