1999 9-3, 200k

10 months ago I started losing power steering fluid and determined it was due to rotting/fraying PS fluid hoses. I took it to a local shop and they replaced two hoses in the system (high and low pressure, I believe).

Fast forward to now: I started losing PS fluid again, so I refilled the reservoir (Pentosin CHF 11S) and took a short drive. Afterwards, I looked underneath the motor and it was leaking PS fluid in at least two spots - the very front of the motor and the rear (which I assume is the rack).

Assuming the worst, what is a guesstimate for replacing the rack and the hoses. On Eeuroparts it looks like around $500 in parts (and a mechanic is not going to charge those prices!).

This motor runs great, but I spent $1700 on a water pump, brakes, and suspension work in February and I'm figuring it will need a clutch and fuel pump at some point in the near future. I don't really DIY outside of routine maintenance (belt/pulley, spark plugs, oil changes) so I'm considering how much I want to invest...
