So I ordered a brake booster from GoldWing Saab. I spent a few hours to replace it to find out the rod inside the booster is too long. the master cylinder hits the rod preventing it from mounting to the booster.
I spoke to GoldWing and they swear the replacement booster is from a Viggen. When I measure the two rods, the replacement is just over an inch longer than the original.
I've tried everything to move it, but no luck. I don't think it's adjustable.
does anyone know if the Viggens have all the same booster from 99-02?
We own a 2002 model. All Viggens are 5 speeds.
