The most common problem on the early NG900 were pushed out pins in the OBD2 socket.
Is it a clone Tech 2 or a real one?
The 44.000 card should be ok for that OBD1 car but a generic code reader is probably not going to work since the car is an OBD1 car even though they used the OBD2 16 pin socket.
1993-95 Volvo 850 is the same way having the OBD2 socket under ashtray but essentially it is an OBD1 car so generic code readers is a hit and miss.
So after entering the year and model, you cannot get into any of the different menus being Engine, Transmission, Chassis or Body?
