Yup, that's exactly what I do every time. As soon as the TCS Off light comes on I know it's in limp home, I pull the four fuses for the ecu, reset the throttle body and wait five minutes or so, and restart the car. I know the limp home is reset if the car will idle smoothly and I can blip the throttle to be sure. When it is in limp mode, it tries to die every time I come to a stop in drive, and revs are capped at 2200. Any pushing of the rpm over that results in fuel cutoff and nasty harsh bucking from the engine. In real world terms, that limits me to only being able to crawl away from traffic lights on flat ground. Uphill? Fahgeddaboutit! 45 mph is about the top speed I can attain.
