Go find a 9-3 SS and grab the front brake line while the operator presses on the boosted brake pedal.. Very surprising amount of expansion. Those are the worst factory lines. We get them pretty regular that blow. Its common to feel the pedal drop as the brake vac pump continues to add vacuum sitting at idle. Makes for the classic leaky seals feeling. Gone with Goodridge lines.
On the Older ones it still the same. Also in the clutch hose. When you realize the volume of the hose swelling against pedal travel its a decent percentage. Hold the clutch hose and have an assistant press the clutch down.
