The kit fits a few different cars, mostly GM models, that use a similar bushing design for the inner tie rods. If you go to O'Reilly's website or to RockAuto, you can find the kit under the listings for your car, so no guessing should be required.
You can install the kit without removing the tie rod, but the first time I'd take the entire tie rod out since you need to press out the old bushings. Rent a Pitman arm puller and the outer end will come off of the steering arm very easily. As long as you don't rotate the outer tie rod end, which you can't do unless you loosen the pinch bolts, you don't have to worry about affecting the alignment.
