I have a 2001 9-3 SE. My Heater Blower Fan stopped working. I discovered that the blower motor regulator had so corroded that that bottom chunk of it had fallen off. I obtained a new one, installed it, but each time that i tried to turn on the fan, my fuse blew (the one on the panel inside the engine compartment). Perhaps i am not putting the wires into the correct slots in the five-pin section? Guidance on this would be helpful.
The five pins are arranged like this:
1 2 3
4 5
The other wires from the heater blower are easy, as they are of different sizes. Any other reason why the fuse keeps blowing out?
