Unfortunately, the structure of the OG9-3 MIU is different from the NG900.
It was a few cases back in the days where the rear section that contains the circuitry and brain went bad in different ways and the fix was to replace that part and program it to the car.
The part is quite expensive though, around $600.00 and it was the same part used in turbo and non turbo application but with a split in around 95-96.
I do have a new rear section for your car (P/N 4711214) but without doing any diagnostic and installation/programming, I would not be comfortable selling it since it might be something else.
