If you need assistance with arrangements for your SAAB prior to you return to Monterey, perhaps I can help. I suggest you might initiate an email exchange with mechanic Barry Hartzel relating to the parts you require prior to your return. He may be able to source them for you. Aside from the source for used parts I mentioned in my initial June post, the "local" source is Volvo-Saab in Rancho Cordova, CA on Highway 50 just outside of Sacramento. I checked, and found no listing of a used part called a shift lever box. However, you might email them with a part number, photograph or other description which may help them identify the part. I have used them with success during the 14 years we've owned several SAABs.
