Well I haven't done much yet to be quite honest. I added some Techron and I'm in the process of going through that tank of gas and getting a better feel for whats happening to the car by trying to map the problem a little better than "cuts out in 3rd at full boost". I have found that the problem is present in 3rd, 4th and 5th but not 1st and 2nd, as some predicted. I still have the plugs to put in after this tank of fuel is gone (I like to eliminate one thing at a time, cheapest first). The BPC was next on my list of things to investigate as it was suspect by some here but I don't think it's at fault, if I dont accelerate at w.o.t the BPC behaves normally..boost gauge goes to border of red then back to mid-yellow. That would indicate a properly operating BPC, also I called the dealer and he gave me a quote of $220. for a new one, ouch!! Can't I get a "hot-rod" one for around $100? If I can buy one, swap it and if problem persists I'll return it I'll do it but have to check return policy at local dealers. I also want to get the base boost checked out but that means leaving the car at the dealers for a day.
