Just the rebuilt shaft. You get the rebuilt units, you intall them, and return the old ones.
There must be some way to test these things. Jack up the car, reach up and feel the joints as you or an assistant works the wheel back and forth against the engine and the other road wheel that is still on pavement. Try to shake the central shaft section.
I would hate to put in rebuilt units and still have a problem.
Have the engine mounts been checked out?
