cold weather stalling

I have been in Wyoming on business this week, and I am having a hard time starting my car ( '99 9-3SE automatic) in the mornings. It starts right up and than stalls. This happens two or three times. I have to nurse it along by giving it a little gas and then let the engine run before putting into gear. I just had the 30,000 mile service done a couple of weeks ago, so I've got new plugs, my battery water was topped off etc.
Granted, it's been cold up there, but not THAT cold.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
JN
