Yes you will get more power, but it will be mostly apparent at wide open thottle at high RPMs' where the OEM filter was working agaist you.
What you will notice, is that the turbo will spin up a bit faster, allowing you go get on boost sooner. This will make your car faster.
But the K&N is a foundation for other performance mods that help intake and exhaust flows. These improvements all work together, and the result is greater than the sum of the parts. This synergy is something that only occurs on turbo charged engines.
But if you are after power and a quick onset of boost, you need to get a modified ECU or an external boost controller. Either will overcome the slow boost response that is substantially a result of Saab's ECU programming. They wanted a tame linear throttle response, and thats what you get.
95SET, K&N, removed silencer, reworked transistion casting, external boost controller, insulated intake, modified airbox Sports exhaust, BEL 980 :), Viggen rescue kit.
