If you have a cont. tester, you could pull the head out, and with some homemade "jumpers", check each pin for continuity one by one...
get some pointed wire testers, so you can actually fir it in pin by pin, then a long wire and some aligator clips, so you can sort of have one person in the front of the car with the tester, while you're all the way in the back with the other contact...
does that make anysense?
