Re the light failure. Shine your lights against a wall - try low beam and high beam to be sure it's one beam is out. Replacement of light bulb is pretty simple. Buy an H4 (aka 9003) at any auto parts store - $10-15 usually. To replace, go to back of the bad headlamp. Twist off the black cover. You will see wires plugged to back of bulb. To release bulb, you have to undo a spring retainer that clamps across the base of the bulb. It's a thin wire and takes a little manipulation until you get used to it. Take out the bulb from headlamp, disconnect it from the wiring socket, insert new bulb into socket and put back in headlamp, refit retainer and black cap. DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS OF THE NEW BULB AS FINGER GREASE CAN CAUSE EARLY FAILURE. Good luck.
