I went to get new plugs this morning. My owners manual says: NGK BCPR 7ES. I wrote this down and the sales woman (auto zone) gave me four plugs and a gap tool. I came home opened the hood pulled a plug out and it was much larger in diameter than the new set I had. So I put the car back together and went back to a different store (a close one that was now open) because the first was 7 miles away. The salesman did not have the NGK BCPR 7ES in stock, he said that it was not a valid number. We looked in his book and his book suggested the NKG BCPR 6ES-11. I did not buy them because i have seen posts about how important it is to have the correct plug in the turbo engine. So, this is much longer than it needs to be, what plug does my car require. Thanks. One more thing. the plug caps seemed to have a grease on them, i assumed it is some sort of conductor. Do I need to get some more of that?
