Just got my car back from the dealer, they changed the heater core. I assume they took the dash apart to get to it. Thing is, now one side of the climate controls box (for lack of a better term)is loose. If I wiggle the temp. knob, I can move the whole unit a bit. Its only on the drivers side, the other side is still attached firmly. Do the tabs, or whatever it is that secures this thing to the dash break easily? If this is a DIY fix I will do it, the last thing I want to do is take my car back to the dealer. Dont get me wrong, my dealer is great but I just dont have time for all the running around. NOTE: it is not the knob/cable that is broken, the unit works fine but is loose on one side.
Thanks,
nick
