but I have never let that bother me.
I think the balo rotors are good. However, if your rotors aren't warped, gouged, or damaged in any other way; I wouldn't bother replacing the rotors. I have 85k on the rotors and they are well within minimum spec.
As for pads, it all depends on what you want and how hard you use the brakes. Do you use them so hard that they fade ( it keeps taking longer to stop from the same speed)? I used stock pads for driving schools and did not have any problems with fade. I'm sure if I used raing pads it would have felt like I threw a boat anchor out the window when i stopped; but, the poinjt is even stock pads perform well (especially from a cold stop). I have heard positive feedback about the green stuff pads. I'm sure they are good. I have gotten good service from the Brake Warehouse in South Carolina, they have just about any type of pad to suit your needs. Porterfield sells a street/track double duty pad. They are rather expensive, I am pretty sure they don't work that well when cold (i.e. first stop of the morning or after 30 minutes on the freeway).
