I currently have a '95 900SE V6 w/ 97k miles. It has been one of the best Saabs that I have owned. Fast and reliable. I have never had problems with the operation of the car. However, I have had some problems.

The first, was the infamous "Check Gearbox" light issue. Nothing wrong with the gearbox, but instead a senor that detected something or rather. Total cost of repair: $500 est.

Second, my AC Compressor decided to fail recently. Total replacement of the compressor and associated parts. Total cost of repair: $1500 est.

Neither of these problems inhibited the ability of my car to run. I probably could have just overlooked the problems and driven the car for many more miles.

Hope this helps you out. I love my car and try to take good care of it and this is probably why I keep deciding to invest in maintaining my vehicle.
