Wanted to move this up the list a little. :)
I have a 95 900 SETC and checked for this "pronounced 3/16" lip of the throttle body inlet. Being an Engineering type and consider myself mechanical...I grabbed my mikes and found that the inner diameter of the actual throttle body is identical to the cast intake elbow where they make contact w/ each other. (the step on mine is what positions the o-ring so it can do it's job properly) I saw no pysical way to port the throttle body to enhance its flow. Am I even in the right place? The actual cast intake elbow hasn't been touched and all the casting marks are visible. It also has no "lip" Hope I'm not beating a dead horse here...
