Early NG900s had vibration problems in SOME cars, so much so that Saab replaced steel wheels with alloys, but I know of one person who, after 2 cars (94 and 95) finally bought a V*olvo. Oh well. Seems it comes up around 65 mph and may have been related to the steering rack mounts or other mounting points doing some sort of resonance thing. The V6s are questionable in durability (the timing chain/tensioners I believe)also, and they at least require more maintenance. I have a 97 SE and its nice and smooth, but my wife does not like the ergonomics (her knees hit the dash)and I don't like things like the closeness of the pedals if I wear boots (My size 12's hit 2 pedals frequently) but it is smooth and quiet, easier on the body than the C900s I am used to. Its also gonna be for sale later this summer, but its a 5-speed 3-door, probably not what you are looking for.
