Check Engine Light Posted by Saabster [Email] (#2456) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saabster) on Wed, 28 Mar 2001 20:45:55 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hey again... I recently pulled my 95 900 SETC from winter storage. I replaced the 6 speakers, getting ready to do the sport exhaust, rotors/pads and tires/wheels. My problem is that the check engine light is all of a sudden illuminated. I recently polished the interior of the inlet casting to the throttle body and started the car with the temp sensor unplugged today. I turned the car off and plugged the pigtail back in, but no go. The idiot light has never lit up until now...my question...is there a way for me to "reset" the idiot light or do i have to have the dealer do it? Or...do I really have a prob? It runs great other than that...no skipping or hesitation. TIA
