I had overspray from white spray paint on my black 96 900SE. Used Meguiars clay and it worked great. What it does is strips the paint down to the clearcoat. So once you are done with the clay you need to apply wax. My paint was as smooth as glass when I was done. It also works well on tree sap and other contaminents.
