New Rims/Tires & I have a problem.

I had my new bridgestone re71 tires mounted & balanced on new 5 spoke saab rims today. The car looks amazing! These new rims are a HUGE improvement aesthetically (sp?) over my old 15 spoke rims.
My problem is that from about 50mph to 75mph (as fast as I could go safely) there is a shake that is apparent through the steering wheel and the stickshift. It is the most pronounced when accelerating or decelerating through this speed range, but I think it is still there when I am just cruising in that range as well. It almost completley disappears though when remaining at a constant speed.
There is no noise that indicates an out of balance tire (have had that before, know what it sounds like). Also, usually when a tire is out of balance it is apparent from a slow speed right on up, it doesnt wait until you hit 55 and suddenly start to vibrate.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I am leaving in the morning on a trip, and will return next sunday night, so I wont be able to post responses after I go, but I will check when I get back to see what people have to say. I may be able to respond to posts up to about noon on sat. before I leave.
Thanks in advance for your help. Other than this annoying issue I am totally psyched about these new tires. The car is a totally different animal in terms of handling (Coming from snows on 15 inch rims is quite a change).
