Suggest that if you want accel. you save money for computer upgrade. Despite all on this BB, exhaust sustems and air cleaner mods make little or no difference. You can do the exhaust cheaply by just removing the rear muffler and replacing with a piece of bent pipe. Not loud at all. I currently have Walker turbomax straight through, with pre muffler removed and noise level is quiet due to trubo. Improvement is 0 to 60 of less that .1 sec.
Same with shocks and springs. You end up with a ride like a Toyota pickup and no improvement in driveability. Cornering is determine by the amount of time you keep the tires in contact with the road surface, the area of contact, and the stickyness of the tires. If you want all out cornering capability and travel anywhere off smooth roads, then upgrade your tires to more sticky ones. BMWs roll like crazy and stick like glue because as the car rolls, the tires stay in relatively level contact with the road.
