Door lock stuck

My '98 900 front passenger door lock got stuck in the lock position today. It was acting up lately, it would lock or unlock fully or partially either with the keyless or central locking. I usually just locked it or unlocked it manually by pushing or pulling it. I knew I had to probably replace the lock cylinder, but hadn't made a trip to the dealer yet. Well today, it is stuck down. Even when I pull on the lock, there is a lot of resistance, it just snaps down. I can't seem to open the passenger door in any way, not from inside or out. All the other doors work fine. I pull on it while opening the handle from the inside and still doesn't open. I don't even know how the dealer will get at it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Right now my girlfriend has to get in from my side or from the back door and jumps to the front. Pretty embarrasing. HELP!
