The engine of my 900S is very raspy....sometimes. I have 76K miles on the car. I had the 65K mile major tuneup done. The Poly V belt was replaced at 47K. The Idler pulley was replaced at 65K.
Some days when I start my car, it sounds VERY raspy, gurgly or rough. I run only 93 octane and once a month run an octane booster. This sometimes helps. Based on the BB I thought it was the Idler pulley.
Some days the cars runs fairly smooth. Others it sounds bad. I'm not sure what the problem could be. The dealer didn't mention anything after the 65K service.
Anyone have any ideas?
