I removed the '2.0' and 'Turbo' from my 1998 900SE. I used a hair dryer to heat the badges and then used a plastic putty knife to lift them as the adhesive softened. A bit of alcohol on a soft cloth removed the adhesive residue.
Dental floss can be used to 'cut' thru the foam tape adhesive to remove the badge. Then some alcohol or mineral spirits can be used to remove the adhesive residue. Finish with a little wax and you are 'stealth'.
