Also, the revised strut parts went into effect in 1997. Before that, the top bushings were weak and would wear out quick in harsh conditions. It's entirely possible that many 95s and 96s have had the work done already, so it's a great idea to have someone pull the service records.
The only other difference that hasn't been mentioned is that the panel between the taillights is same color as the body in 95, and is a reflector in 96, but that's getting too specific!
