'suspension upgrade kit' installed today- big difference (long)

Car was in for service, origianlly for rear seals and strut mount, the former was put off to replace most of front suspension. i had noticed a REALLY loud squeeking over the last 10 days. suspension bushings worn out, and aparently control arms and others were badly worn too. the dealer recommended and installed what they called a 'suspension upgrade kit' which is as i understand, is a better suspension setup than what was installed in my '94 at the factory. i speculate a +97 update (considering other changes that year) results:
WOW!
like what a difference, and it's not the $743.70 p&l talking. i mean the difference is quite significant. trammeling is almost gone!! i could take my hand off the wheel while pushing 14PSI through 2nd and the car only pulled right like the allignment was off. prevously, it was usually a two handed ordeal (alteast from 3000-5000). and first isn't the white knuckle experience that i used to be. everything feels tighter- turns, straights even braking.
in the past i was ocnsidering the ($200) poly-bushing as an upgrade- for steering feel and reducing tremmeling, but this just sorta happened today, the car was in the shop and the upgrade kit was like one price. (plus the bushings would have taken a couple of days to get) now i wonder if at least some of the differences ppl feel is just from having new bushings replacing old worn out ones. i'm sure poly's will wear better, tho. just thinking out loud here.
