This sounds like something typical for the NG900's. The compressor starts and the ECU compensates by opening up the IAC valve. This can feel rough for a few moments. If the rad fan is out of balance, then that adds to the vibrations. But after it settles in, the vibration should deminish.
For those vehicles with automatic transmissions, I expect that more vibration will be felt.
