For manuals, you can buy SAAB manuals by section e.g. Brakes, Electrical and so on - about $15 each. Troubl is many dealers deny they exist. (Go to Townsend Imports site - link below) and you will find a list of part numbers. Or you can buy a Haynes manual for about $25 - based on a UK right hand drive car but covers much of the basics.
As you have a turbo, you have a timing chain (not belt). The chain is tensioned by a plunger actuated by oil pressure. Over time, the chain can stretch and/or the tensioning device can wear badly and the chain may come off. But it is not reported very often. Given the miles you show, it would pay to check the chain and tensioner.
