I replaced almost all the windshield washer hose (didn't replace the last couple feet to the washer bottle yet) and all the vacuum hose on my 1998 900SET. the windshield washer took about 15 feet of 4mm hose and about 3 feet of 6mm hose, and the vacuum lines took about 10-12 feet of 4mm hose. Buy some extra because a couple wrong cuts will leave you short of hose. Don't worry about the "special" silicone hose cutter (a cigar cutter with hose techniques logo) as a sharp utility knife or razor knife will do as well. I didn't even use the "color matched zip ties" on the ends, and have had no problem with the vacuum lines staying in place.
