ok guys
my 94' 900se v6 has had a squeeking steering wheel since i bought it. it generates a squeek that can be gently felt through the wheel when it is turned slowly (like easing out of a parking place or curving on the highway). i have dis-assymbled and re-assymbled the steering column from the wheel to the fire wall a half dozen times and can't locate or lubricate-out the offender.
if this has happened to any of you let me know what you did to fix it.
i know it is not the clock spring.
i think it might be the bearing at the fire wall: if it is can i remove it and repack it or does it have to be replaced. (and can it be removed from the cabin side of the firewall? and will i be able to get everything re-aligned properly?)
