I'll check in from time to time, but I have spent about $3500 bucks so far this year on my 1996 900SE 5 door automatic, 131,000 miles I saw a great deal on a new SAAB. I loved my car and was worried something else major would go wrong.
just this year
driveshaft $1300 bucks
lower ball joints and tie rods $1000.00
ABS wheel sensor $150.00
O2 sensor $300.00
fuel pump $600.00 bucks
AC has a slow R134a leak
Needs front rotors and pads
Needs a new muffler
SID display has not worked for last 2 years
Heated seats do not work

I have all service records and am deciding if I am brave enough to sit down and add up what I spent on maintenance on this car since I bought it new in 1996. Its been a great car but the last year and half have a taken a major toll on my pocketbook.
