I have Abbott's uprated rear swaybar. Yup, it helps. The Viggen springs are actually very stiff in the rear so the bar is just perfect for those. Every other spring I've tried is actually softer in the rear so the bar is an absolute must (and could stand to be a tad stiffer).
Thought about taking Abbott's bar and doubling up with the stock one. Would need to find some very high quality bolts for this, however.
The bar itself is very simple and there are no bushings involved. It literally took me 10 minutes to install it including jacking up the rear of the car in the middle of a NE winter.
One thing I noticed while installing it is that my rear torsion beam is slightly bent. One side is higher than the other and comes in a little more; almost as if somebody spun out in the snow, hit a curb, and didn't tell me. :) I may have to try that "shim" thing with a rear alignment.
Note: one wheel bumps are more noticeable with the uprated bar.
