It was easier than i thought. Basically the only reason i did it is because I got tired of fuel guage sensor being off in how much gas was in the tank. But make sure you are certain that it is the fuel pump float that is the root of your problem before you start. It can be the guage itself or the relay or fuse.

As always this is the procedure I followed, note that you should use your best judgement and add or enhance the procedure below before you start. And be very careful. I give this one a four wrench job.

procedure:
1.) Make sure the tank is pretty much empty
2.) Put the rear of car on ramps (or jacks).
3.) Start car and pull Relay "F" in engine panel and fuse #32 in inside driver side. Car will stall out. Try to start it a few time to make sure the pressure is releived.
4.) Unscrew the fuel filter and just let it hang (you dont have to disconnect any hose from it)
5.) start undoing the two 13mm nuts on the belt that hold the tank just behind the rear axel support.
6.) After is it down disconnect the fuel pump connections (two) one for the guage sensor and one for the pump itself)
7.) Unscrew the plasticholder that keeps the fuel pump in place. I used a "Huge" channellock type tool with the mouth opened to the max and using the outside of the teeth to unscrew the plastic. A tool is available but its like 90 bucks.
8.) Unscrew the pump 1/4 turn and pull it out. easy does it.
9.) put new in and make sure the gas float is set in tank properly.

Put in in reverse order.

Note: The trickiest part I found was Making sure the parking brake cable was in place properly. The rear right cable goes in before you tie down the fuel tank belt on the left (driver side). And the rear left parking brake (driver side) get tied down under the belt before you put it in place.
