It's summer, and just like where you live it has been warm here in Colorado. My daily drive home from work includes the 6% climb up I-70 west of Denver -- from 5,600 ft. to 7,600 ft. The speed limit is 65 and the flow of traffic is generally gettin' along if you know what I mean. Lately when the ambient temp. is in the mid-90's at the bottom of the hill (mid-80's at the top, that's why we live at the top!) my 900 non-turbo 5-sp. goes through a fit of surging when I get home. I'm guessing that it is just hot fuel, sort of a minor vapor lock. The vehicle starts and runs fine next time I start it. For what it's worth I use 91 octane which is generally the highest grade available here because of our altitude.

Any ideas? Should I worry, the car has only 120K miles and runs quite well otherwise.
