Haynes does not specify, but I assume that a readjustment of toe-in is required after the job is done. Or is the slack in the strut top mounting repeatable enough?
Got the new ball joint and strut top nuts on hand, or will you re-use and loctite them?
Using a spring compressor... Do you apply the compressor before jacking up the vehicle, or is that even possible? I was thinking that compressing the spring would be a lot of work and time, or do you only take off the preload and not deflect it much. Do you leave the clamp on the spring until it is time to reassemble?
