My current commute does not provide any circular ramps. Many ramps in KC are compact with RH or LS turns to get on them.
In general, I initially found that the amount of steering input required has increased significantly. But I am adjusting and the steering is getting familiar. So on a circular ramp, I expect that the vehicle will track very well and stick like glue, as it did before, but with less body roll. But I expect that I might be able to explore the tractive limit which never was evident before. (Michelin Pilot Sports... soft tread, high traction.)
The vehicle roll or sway is insignificant or non existant compared to stock trim. I am sure that you have read about how I was experiencing body sway induced steering artifacts, which were applified by the VRK as the VRK makes steering very responsive. Body sway induced steering geometry changes that will affect vehicle trajectory, which would not be manifest in a stock rubbery system. These problems also are not evedent unless the shocks are pooped out, (122000) mile for mine). With good shock performance, the sway dynamics are damped sufficiently that no problem is percieved. So there were three solutions possible, reduce sway with a stiff sway bar, or dampen sway movement with new shocks, or both. But none of this would occur I expect without the VRK.
So I did not answer your question.
I do take time to adjust to new things. Like telling the wife that I like some of her new clothes 6 months after she get them... that open another thread which we will not pursue... So I find my self wanting to find a large flat parking lot where I can drive some circles and see what kind of G's I can develop, and explore what happens when traction limits are exceeded.
I can make extreme lane changes at freeway speed and the response is very controlled and stable. That is where the dynamics were getting flakey.
I feel that the optimal amount of sway bar stiffness would be a thinner unit. I don't think that the rear end need to be dead flat all of the time. The steering was more responsive before, better turn in. That I believe might be a better all around performer. But I am still learning what the new system is like.
I will search out some good ramps...
95SET, 127000 miles, VRK, stock springs, orignal shocks and wheels, Michelin Pilot Sports 1.5 years old, maybe 35 40Kmiles, 35 PSI.
Yes I need new shocks...
