I've had my check engine light on for a week or so. I tried grounding the #6 pin to get a fault code and nothing happened. Somebody else here posted a response saying to try replacing the air filter and running a couple tanks of gas with Techron.
My buddy and I were at Pep Boys yesterday to get a new air filter and he suggested I replace the PCV valve, or at lease check it. According to him, the valve's good if you shake it and hear like a BB rattling inside. If there's no noise, the valve's gummed up.
Anyway, where is it located under the hood? The car's a '96 900S (2.3l NA).
Thanks for your advice.
Hasta,
Duhey2
