First: Make sure that you are not getting any ratcheting noise from the motors...that could be really expensive. Do a search on convertible.

There are two microswitches located in the convertible bag that usually get loose and cause the mechanism to malfunction. If loose, replace them or remove them completely, but make sure you don't try to open the top with the bag suspenders lifted up...that will cost you even more.

Did you have the dealer check the codes from the computer that controls the top mechanism ? They will be able to tell you what's wrong and they are usually preatty good. I got mine reprogrammed for every top movement position, but still from time to time, it malfunctions. (1 out of 10). If I want it to be perfect I would hev to get a new computer ($800 cnd), so I decided to live with that.

The rear glass window cloth starting to pull away...it's normal, unless you're getting a watter leak...live with it. If you have to glue the window bach on, the dealer can do that for you and it's not that expensive. Max 30 min work.

You have to understand that the 1995 900 convertible is the first NG900 convertible and there are little thing here and there that you will have to live with...
