Ok, I had read the posts stating that the ECU in automatic NGs has a lower fuel cutoff than manuals. But, I couldn't resist and tried it anyway. 1997 900 SE turbo. I must say that I don't think cutoff is lower in my car. I hit 1/2 into red before cutoff, and the car accelerates noticeably stronger. Before the controller, max boost would hold steady between yellow and red.
Backed the Dawes controller down a bit and now its running like a charm.
Noticeably stronger pull in first and second past 3000 rpm. I can't really tell if the turbo begins to spool up faster, but it definately comes on hard once it does. I can spin the front wheels more easily than before, but I only did this once.
Still, the car feels very slow off the line. I have to get over 3000RPMs for anything to happen.
This was an easy 15 minute install, and I definitely recommend it. Just go easy in 1st with the auto...you'll destroy your tires and probably kill your trans as well!

K&N and Koni front shocks on Friday!
Thanks to all on this board for their advice and anecdotes.
