Sport Exhaust yet again

So, my mechanic has just told me that it will cost me as much to replace the rusted 2/3 of my stock exhaust, as it would cost me to buy a new stainless steel one.

I have 3 questions before I make the order:

Sportscarservice told me that I need my own flex pipe to use with the sport exhaust (I have a turbo). My flex pipe is leaking, so I have to buy a new one; they quoted me $95. Does that sound reasonable?

I currently have the black oval sport tip on my stock exhaust, which I would like to trnasplant to the sport exhaust, which, however has a round tip. Is this possible? Baab, I think you offered the tip of your sport exh. for sale; I assume that means that you put your own tip on. How is that done?

Hoiw long should it take to take off the old exhaust and put in a new one? I'd like to have an idea of this, so as not to be fleeced by my mechanic.
