I completely shattered my left light when I was backing my car of ramps, they were too steep and the glass exploded everywhere. I'm a college student so I have more time than money; I used some plexy-glass and made a new cover. The fog light case is off set from the reflective plastic inside. This makes it impossible to simply glue some plexy-glass to the case. I used a piece of sheet metal, cut it into a wedge and bent it around ¾ of the case. This created a flat surface where I could glue the plexy-glass to (It is hard to explain this well but it is easier when you see it). I curled the ends of the metal to give it more surface area. I ripped out all the remaining glass fragments form the original seal and glued the metal to the case, then I glued the plexy-glass to the metal. You also have to be careful not to make the new lens too large or it will not fit back into the bumper, this is very important because I had to do some internal bumper trimming which could have been avoided. This project was rather involved, took me about 6 hours to take off the bumper and make the new lens. It’s up to you to decide what is more valuable, your time or your money. Good luck, reply if you have more questions.
