15000 miles? The plugs could be bad again. If you are using heat range 7 plugs, switch to the hotter heat range 6 plugs. You should be running bcpr6es11's.
If the hose from the throttle body to the absolute pressure sensor has split at the ends, you can get some nasty losses of mixture control! So check that for sure. The sensor is bolted to the underside of the right hand shock tower brace tube (black).
What you describe will happen if the plugs are black and carboned up. At WOT the spark will track over the carbon and not to the ground electrode. Once this happens, the plugs get extremely carboned up and things get rapidly much worse. Pull a plug. If you see black electrode insulators, you know what is going on. Look carefully and you will see tracks in the carbon deposits where the spark has tracked. These will almost have the appearance of cracks.
Gummed up injectors with bad spray patterns could contribute to this condition, or cause it. If you have this black plug condition, you need some Techron Concentrate to help clean the combustion chambers. That will take care of the injectors too.
The above problems are easy to deal with. If non of the above helps, then you have to consider the DI. But the DI usually is good at your miles etc. And it often fails complete and sudden.
