Hi board.

I'm having 2 problems w/my 900SE convertible. Was hoping someone on the board might have had (one of) the same problems.

Short Version: My ABS light keeps coming on and going off. Sometimes the speedometer doesn't work when the light is on. Also, my AC failed the same day this problems started. What can cause the ABS problem, and is it possible it's linked to the AC (thought they were on different systems)?

Long Version: I had just picked up my car from the dealer (Roger Beasly in Austin TX) for some clutch work (they replaced my whole clutch, another story in itself). Before I drove it off the lot, my ABS light came on. The service manager couldn't get the computer to read anything from the car, so he had a mechanic take a look at it. They were about to hand my loaner back to me when the light went off. The mechanic said that he "cleaned and replaced the 60amp fuse that's under the hood".

Since then the light comes on 1 to 6 times a day. Sometimes it kills the speedometer, sometimes not. It usually stays on for only a couple of seconds, but sometimes as long as 20 mins.

The AC has also started working intermittently, usually early in the morning (I suspect coolant leak, will get it checked out on Monday). This problems started the same day as the ABS problem! Even if the AC is blowing cold, when the ABS light comes on, the AC will stop blowing cold and won't again for the rest of the day. Coincidence?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
