Have a '95 SET with 156K on it. I put all but the first 19K on the car--in under 4 years. The car is great to drive--just make sure if you don't (or can't) fix the car yourself (I lack the time and space) that you have someone who REALLY knows Saabs well. I've been pretty lucky with mine--the only sore point has been the gearbox, and when the pinion rod finally snapped at 90K (after the dealer rebuilt the gearbox twice), Saab bought us a new one--100% gratis. Most if not all of the repairs on the car will cost you, but (at least in my case) the care doesn't break that often. I've been fortunate to find a great dealer and two fantastic independents. Good luck and happy Saab motoring!!
