thanks for your feedback all. I actually am very experienced with burning discs since I have had no problems in my other car's cd changer. I know some changers may have problems reading CD-Rs. These are mp3s that I have converted to .wav files, which are .cda files. I know about the speed fiels and have actuallyt been urning them at 2x just so this wouldn't happen. I tried burning them on a 650MB CD-R from HP and there are still reading problems.
Erica, I think I am going to try to find those Sony's you mention and see if they work.
